All parents of our parish public school, charter or home-schooled students should plan to attend this Sunday’s parent meeting immediately following the 9:30 a.m. Mass. The new format will be explained at this meeting and course materials handed out.

Our Wednesday Bible study group will resume meeting at 10 a.m. in the parish center following all CDC and diocesan directives. The Parish Finance Committee will meet at 7 p.m. on Sept. 14 and the Pastoral Council will meet Sept. 17 at 7 p.m.

This weekend we will celebrate the 24th Sunday in Ordinary Time. Our readings emphasize the Lord is kind and merciful and so should we be especially in showing forgiveness to one another. Our forgiveness should be without limit so as to reflect the eternal love of Jesus.

Father Bill continues to ask for prayers through the intercession of Father Walter Ciszek, that God will bless us with a cure for COVID-19 and restore the physical, spiritual, emotional and financial health to our global family.
