Mahoning approves several agreements for Wendy’s

Several agreements for a Wendy’s to be built in Mahoning Township have received approval.

Supervisors on Wednesday approved Wendy’s development agreement and stormwater management agreement.

However, Wendy’s needed to submit a revised letter of credit after township solicitor Tom Nanovic discovered a few errors.

As of Friday morning, a revised letter of credit had been dropped off at the township municipal building, according to township secretary Natalie Haggerty.

Last month, final conditional approval of the Wendy’s final land development plan was granted based on township engineer LTL Consultants review letter dated Aug. 18.

It was noted that the township’s Planning Commission had granted final approval of the plan conditioned upon LTL plan review letter dated Aug. 18; mylar; and Mahoning Township Municipal Authority acceptance of payment and approval of hookup and all outstanding fees.

Wendy’s has provided a letter from the Mahoning Township Municipal Authority that they purchased its EDU.

The Wendy’s will be at 990 Blakeslee Blvd. Drive East.

The proposed land development is by Narendra V. and Dina N. Ambani, owners, and Wen-Lehighton Partners LLC, developers.

It calls for constructing a 2,735-square-foot restaurant at the site of the former Dr. Ambani’s office.

Demolition work has been underway since earlier this month.

Wendy’s has said they want to open in November.
