September 12, 1981 - Mike Kmetz throws a pair of touchdown passes to help Marian pull away from Line Mountain for a 35-19 victory. The Colts receive TD runs of four yards from Dave Angelo and one yard from Wayne Stehle before Kmetz tosses his scoring strikes. The Marian QB, who finishes 5-of-8 for 128 yards, finds Steve Agosti in the end zone for a 21-yard touchdown before connecting with Dave Newton on a 27-yard tally. The winners, coached by Stan (Dakosty) Dick, also receive another 1-yard TD run from Stehle.
