Weatherly Area School District’s longtime assistant business manager is retiring.

During a special meeting of the school board on Wednesday, the board approved the retirement request of Brenda Parise in October.

Parise has served in the district for 26 years.

School board director Brian O’Donnell offered her a special thanks for her years with Weatherly Area.

Parise’s last day with the District will be on Oct. 31.
