Lehighton Area School Board took the following action during its meeting Monday night:

• Approved payments to Phillips Brothers for $32,869.05 and Jay R. Reynolds for $45,369.88 for work at the elementary center.

• Approved the 2020-21 insurance package policies for property, general liability, auto, boiler and machinery, umbrella, security, error and omissions, in the amount of $175,981.

• Approved the Automated Logic contracting service agreement for the district’s heating, ventilation and air conditioning for the high school, middle school, and elementary center in the amount of $69,581 for one year.

• Approved the service contract with Keystone Fire Protection Co. for the district’s annual inspections of the sprinkler systems for the high school, middle school, and elementary center in the amount of $1,813 for one year.

• Approved the contract with Behavioral Health Associates for programs and services for the 2020-21 school year.

• Approved the food service A la Carte price list for the 2020-21 school year.

• Accepted the donation to the general fund of $11,786 from the Elementary Center PTO to be used for elementary online educational resources.

• Approved an agreement for participation in Child Nutrition Programs sponsor’s agreement with Behavioral Health Associates for the 2020-21 school year.

• Approved the contract with Carbon-Monroe-Pike Drug and Alcohol Commission Inc., for drug and alcohol education and preventive services for the 2020-21 school year in the amount of $14,000 paid through 2020-21 grant funds.

• Accepted the retirement of Susan Stufflet, music teacher; and Audrey Hedash, elementary teacher.

• Accepted the retirement of Beverly Everett, paraprofessional, effective Dec. 31, 2020.

• Approved the eLearn21 Lehighton Area Virtual Academy (LAVA) parent/student handbook for the 2020-21 school year.

• Approved the addition of the Edward W. and Phyllis K. Brown Business Student Scholarship.
