Frackville state police report incidents

State police at Frackville reported on the following arrests made by troopers at Schuylkill County locations:

• Jarrod Kost, 31, of Mount Carmel, has been charged with criminal trespass for an incident on Aug. 8 at 10:15 a.m. along Deer Lane, in Cass Township. Troopers said Kost entered onto the property of a 40-year-old Minersville man which was posted “no trespassing.” Charges were filed.

• On July 31 at 7:40 p.m. troopers conducted a traffic stop along Interstate 81 in Foster Township, for a traffic violation. The driver, a 29-year-old man from Gaithersburg, Maryland, who troopers declined to identify, was found in possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was taken into custody, processed and later released. Charges were filed.

• On Aug. 2 at 1:21 a.m. troopers responded to a residence along Fourth Street in Kline Township, for an incident of harassment. A 28-year-old woman from Kelayres reported a 21-year-old man from Kelayres, who they declined to identify, pushed his way into her home and then pushed the victim.

He was cited for harassment - physical contact.

• Troopers made a traffic stop at 9:50 a.m. on Tuesday along Skyline Drive at Darkwater Road in New Castle Township. The driver, identified as Jeffrey Miller, 49, of Ashland, was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana and a controlled substance. Charges are to be filed.

• Troopers said on Monday at 5:15 p.m. troopers responded to the area of 208 Schuylkill Ave., in West Mahanoy Township, for a report of two brothers acting out in the middle of the street. It was determined that Michael Delong, 22, of Pottsville, and Braeden Delong, 20, of West Mahanoy Township, engaged in name calling, throwing items into the street and causing a disturbance by using profanity.

Charges were filed.

• A Schuylkill County woman is facing charges following a domestic incident that occurred at 7:26 p.m. Saturday.

Police said troopers responded to 11 Water St., New Philadelphia, for a domestic disturbance.

The investigation revealed a dispute occurred between a husband and wife. As a result Sara Nichols, 35, was issued a citation for harassment - physical contact.

• A 27-year-old man from Pottsville, who they declined to identify, was charged with criminal trespass for an incident on Sunday at 1:05 a.m. at the Speedway Service Station, located along South Lehigh Avenue, in West Mahanoy Township.

The suspect remained in the building after being told several times by an employee to leave. Citation will be filed.
