Police report on Monroe DUI cases

State Police at Stroudsburg reported on the following cases:

• A Monroe County driver is facing a driving under the influence charge.

State police at Stroudsburg said troopers made a vehicle stop at 10:38 p.m. on July 18 along Interstate 80 westbound in Pocono Township. The driver, a 45-year-old man from Mount Pocono, who troopers declined to identify, was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI. He was taken to the county DUI center for a blood draw. Charges are pending.

• Police reported investigating a one-vehicle crash about 5:14 p.m. July 15 along Interstate 80 in Pocono Township, Monroe County, which the driver is facing a driving under the influence charge.

Troopers said Rebecca J. Callen, 38, of Albrightsville, was driving a 2018 Nissan Maxima when it left the road and struck a guide rail. Callen and her passenger, Beth A. White, 35, of Lehighton, were not injured. The vehicle had to be towed.

Callen was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI, troopers said.
