The 23rd annual clothing giveaway by St. John’s Lutheran Church, 319 South Ave., Jim Thorpe, will continue now through Aug. 15. The daily hours at 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Aug. 10-14; 6-8 p.m. Aug. 13; and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 15.

No appointment is necessary to attend this event. A previous announcement said appointments were necessary. Total shopping time will be 30 minutes and only 25 people, including the volunteers, are permitted to be in the church at one time.

No children under 12 years can be present. Temperatures will be taken upon arrival, and if elevated, access will not be permitted. All participants must sanitize their hands upon arrival. Face masks must be worn. No restrooms will be available.

One designated entrance and one designated exit will be used. Volunteers will be there to assist you during your allotted time period.
