Schuylkill incidents

State police at Frackville reported on the following arrests made by troopers at Schuylkill County:

• On July 27 at12:58 a.m. a traffic stop was conducted along East Mahanoy Avenue at Vine Street in Girardville. The driver, Patrick Teske, 47, of Ashland, admitted to being in possession of methamphetamine. A probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted and methamphetamine was found. Drug charges are to be filed.

• Troopers reported investigating an incident that occurred on July 23 at 1:45 a.m. on the 400 block of Mount Olive Boulevard, in West Mahanoy Township. Troopers were called to the residence for a report of a fight. Upon investigation it was determined that Brian Andrewsky, 48, of Lost Creek, and Matthew Dietz, 30, of Mount Carmel, began to argue over Dietz feeding Andrewsky’s dog biscuits. The argument turned physical resulting in minor injuries to both men. Both were issued citations for harassment - physical contact.

• On July 23 at 9:33 a.m. troopers responded to a residence on Low Road in Cass Township, to a report of a physical altercation involving a property dispute. Upon investigation it was determined that Evelyn Wallace, 77, and Jack Spirko Sr., 70, both of Pottsville, engaged in a physical altercation involving pushing and shoving. Both parties were issued citations for harassment - physical contact.
