The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announces the following road work this week, but be advised that road work schedules may change as needed during COVID-19 mitigation or due to changes in the weather:

Carbon County

• Franklin and Lower Towamensing townships: Cherry Hill Road drainage between Route 209 and Fireline Road, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.

• Kidder Township: Lake Harmony Drive utility work between Split Rock and Route 903, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday; I-80 Ramps inspection between Exit 277 (Route 940/Route TPK) and Exit 277 (Route 940 / Route TPK), 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday.

• Penn Forest and Kidder townships: Route 903/Highway to Adventure drainage between Maury Road and Monroe County line, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Friday.

Lehigh County

• Heidelberg: Bake Oven Road lane restriction with flagging between Route 309 and Mountain Road, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday; Hawkview Road lane restriction with flagging between Mountain Road and Route 309, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday.

• Salisbury: I-78 West milling between Exit 57 (Lehigh Street) and Exit 55 (Route 29), 10:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. through Wednesday; I-78 East milling between Exit 55 (Route 29) and Exit 57 (Lehigh Street), 10:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. Thursday and Friday.

• Upper Saucon: Route 309 North lane restrictions and closures between Passer Road and East Saucon Valley Road, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.

Monroe County

• Stroudsburg: I-80 surveying between Exit 306 (Dreher Avenue) and Exit 302 (Route 33 to Route 209), 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Tuesday through Friday.

• Unknown municipality, I-80 West westbound shoulder restriction between Exit 284 (Route 115) and Exit 293 (I-380), 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Wednesday.

Northampton County

• Bethlehem Township: Route 22 inspection between Route 191 and Route 33, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday; Route 22 West inspection between Route 191 and Route 33, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday.

• Lower Saucon, Bethlehem Township, Williams: I-78 East litter removal between Exit 60 (Route 309) and Exit 75 (To Route 611), 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday.

• Lehigh Township: Route 248 drainage between Timberline Drive and Carbon County Line, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.

• Bushkill and Plainfield townships: Route 512 utility work between Bushkill Plaza Lane and Route 33, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday.
