Check before reapplying for ballot

Carbon County voters who applied for permanent mail-in ballots do not need to reapply, officials said.

On Thursday, Commissioner Chris Lukasevich said he received a note from the elections director, Lisa Dart, saying her office has been seeing a considerable number of applications for individuals who already applied for the permanent mail-in option.

“If you applied for the permanent mail-in ballot, you do not have to reapply,” Lukasevich said, adding that if you have a question on whether or not you applied for the permanent option, to call the elections bureau and ask.

“It will save you having to reapply and save them having to produce all the paperwork back to you.”
