The West End Park and Open Space Commission announces this year’s recipients of the $2,000 Dave Fleetwood Memorial Scholarships from the Pleasant Valley School District: Mychal Kearns of Saylorsburg and Addison Borger of Brodheadsville. Both will further their studies at Penn State University. Fleetwood was a Chestnuthill Township supervisor who was killed in a shooting at the Ross Township building in August 2013.
