On Tuesday, Summit Hill Borough Council, during a special meeting, discussed the Intergovernmental Cooperation Agreement between the borough and the Panther Valley School District.
Agreeing to this one-year arrangement would allow both parties to share resources in order to approach mutual areas of interest. This means that they could collaborate on plans, policies and programs to provide for the community in the most efficient way.
With potential projects this upcoming school year, the agreement could prove mutually beneficial for community members and the school district.
After a brief discussion, the council made the unanimous decision to pass the resolution in order to enter into a joint municipal agreement with the Panther Valley School District for Intergovernmental Cooperation.
