The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation work on Route 209/East Catawissa Street between Route 93 and Route 903 has been postponed again until Monday.

The project was supposed to start earlier in the week, but was postponed to Thursday.

The road will be closed and detoured between 6 a.m. and 3 p.m. daily, while traffic will be detoured on Route 902 and Hemlock Drive/Beaver Run Drive/Beaver Street.

The project is expected to take three days.

This work will be done in accordance with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and state Department of Health guidance as well as a COVID-19 safety plan, which will include protocols for social distancing, use of face coverings, personal and job-site cleaning protocols, management of entries to the job site, and relevant training.
