Pleasant Valley Elementary asks for mask donations

The Pleasant Valley Elementary School sent out a request Sunday night asking for mask donations.

“As we prepare to open school in the fall, PVE will be in compliance with Gov. Tom Wolf and the Pennsylvania Department of Health’s orders. As a result, we are looking to build a supply of child-size, kid-friendly masks that we can provide to students who are in need of them,” the message to parents said.

The school is asking the community for donations of homemade, child-size masks made with kid-friendly designs. Masks with cartoon characters or animal patterns would be ideal.

People are asked to drop child-size masks at the PVE main office from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday. All donated masks will be washed before distributing to students.

The school is also seeking donations of child-size face shields.
