State police at the Lehighton barracks said Francis Aimsback, 37, of Sciota, was taken into custody for being wanted on a warrant out of the state of Montana after a traffic stop they made at 10:19 a.m. July 7 at the intersection of Route 209 and Weir Lake Road in Chestnuthill Township.

Police said he was a passenger in the vehicle and was also found to be in possession of a controlled substance.
