A Luzerne County man has been scammed out of a large amount of money, state police at Frackville reported.

Troopers said a 73-year-old from Hazleton was offered a job by a fake employer to send money for business related debt. The victim sent various amounts of money to the fake employer, supposedly located along Delaware Drive in North Union Township, Schuylkill County, totaling $67,000.
