I’m trying to reach out to tell my opinion as a mother of a Carbon Career & Technical Institute graduate and having kids in Panther Valley. I noticed Panther Valley postponed their graduation until Carbon County was in the green. Why could CCTI not do the same?

My daughter graduated and was not allowed to really have anyone there but four people. This was not a fair scenario at all. Why would you make these kids and families feel like they are not important enough to have a huge send-off? Not just Panther Valley but other schools as well had bigger send-offs and all CCTI did was have a small table hand them their diploma and then have a photographer which also we only received one picture for free, not both. I had to order pictures and pay for them.

Please tell me, CCTI, why kids don’t matter at all? They deserve a huge send-off and they did not receive it the way they should have. I would like CCTI to answer to us all in a public announcement.
