• Jerusalem United Church of Christ will be holding a food distribution from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday in the JUCC Church parking lot at 545 Church Drive (Trachsville) Palmerton, near the Towamensing Fire Company.

This is a drive-thru pickup for families in need.

• Food boxes will be available at New Life Assembly of God, 407 Schuylkill Ave., Tamaqua, on May 23.

Boxes will be packed with whatever is available, with approximately 35 to 40 pounds of perishable and nonperishable food per box.

You must preregister on SignUpGenius by May 12. Please sign up with a valid address, phone number and email (if available).

You will be contacted with a pickup time for May 23.

Only 100 food boxes are available. One per household.
