Tamaqua’s Brandon Fogarty will be continuing his academic and athletic careers at Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology.

Fogarty will participate on the Bulldogs’ cross country and track and field teams.

The Tamaqua senior was a Schuylkill League cross country all-star and was a member of the school’s 4x800 relay team that medaled at the league meet. He was a Christopher P. Truskey Memorial Award recipient and a three-time cross country and track & field district qualifier.

The New Ringgold resident also was a member of Tamaqua’s Spanish National Honor Society, Chemistry Club, Physics Club, and BIGS program as a big brother.

Brandon, the son of Valerie and Wayne Fogarty, plans to major in electrical technology.
