Two Carbon drivers in Lehigh crash

Two Carbon County drivers were involved in a rear-end crash in Lehigh County. State police at Bethlehem said the crash occurred at 11:30 a.m. April 20 on Route 100 in Heidelberg Township.

Troopers said Paul T. Walck, 52, and Carl J. Waldron, 35, both of Palmerton, were southbound with Walck directly behind Waldron.

Waldron slowed down to make a left turn onto Saddle Road when Walck, troopers said, attempted to carelessly pass on the left in oncoming traffic.

Waldron turned left and his 2006 Chevrolet HHS impacted with the passenger side tire area of Walck’s 2008 Hyundai Elantra.

No one was injured. Troopers cited Walck for the crash.
