Two Schuylkill County residents had their personal information stolen and used to make unauthorized purchases on credit accounts.

A 46-year-old man from Pottsville reported someone opened a PayPal credit account and purchased a flying drone valued at $3,930.46.

In the second incident the victim was a 42-year-old woman from Cressona who had a PayPal account opened in her name with purchases made at an online store totaling $1,685.
