At the recommendation of both hospital networks, the president judge, and local and state law enforcement agencies, municipalities are going to close all parks and to remove basketball rings in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Eldred Township is closing both ends of Mock Park, including posting no trespassing signs at both access points and barricading the parking area access off Fiddletown Road.
Additionally, the playground area, swings, etc., at the community center will be barricaded “until further notice.”
Eldred Township supervisors ask all residents be mindful of these and all other restrictions currently in place. We have one opportunity to limit the public exposure to this virus.
Supervisors urge residents to severely limit attendance at any public gathering and stay at home.
