Schellhammer solid for Lock Haven softball

Tamaqua graduate Jada Schellhammer was having a solid freshman season at Lock Haven University before the season was abruptly ended due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Schellhammer pitched in nine games and compiled a 6-3 record with a 3.23 ERA. The former Blue Raider tossed 52 innings, allowing 60 hits and 17 walks while striking out 15, and registered six complete games.

At the plate, she posted a .242 batting average and had an on-base percentage of .375. Schellhammer was 8-for-33 with a double, one RBI and four runs scored. She also had seven walks, which tied her for tops on the team.
