Pleasant Valley’s tennis team opened the spring sports season Monday with a victory over Northampton.

Pleasant Valley’s three singles players all won in straight sets to help the Bears gain a 5-1 Eastern Pennsylvania Conference victory over Northampton.

Josh Schaffner, at No. 1, didn’t lose a game in his match, while John Berry, at No. 2, recorded a 6-0, 6-1 win.
