Lehighton senior Katie Aaron will be continuing her academic and athletic careers in the fall at Thiel College.

Aaron will be a member of the Tomcats women’s soccer team. The current Indian, a midfielder, scored 14 goals and had 21 assists during her four years on the varsity squad. She was a captain and the team’s MVP and Scholar-Athlete. Aaron, a member of the FC Pocono Soccer Club, also earned All-Conference Honorable Mention recognition her junior and senior years.

The daughter of Bob and Mary Aaron, Katie was also involved in other school activities including: National Honor Society, Science Olympiad Envirothon, Vice President of Student Council, and a reporter for FBLA.

She will be majoring in environmental science & ecological engineering.
