Over 250 people were in attendance yesterday afternoon for the annual Welsh Songfest at the English Congregational Church, Lansford.

The Rev. William Edwards of the First Congregational United Church of Christ, Coaldale, and the Seek Primitive Methodist Church, offered the invocation and benediction, with Hayden W. Evans of Lansford serving as choir director for the 55 people who volunteered their services.

After George B. Richards, Esq., of Lansford, offered the welcome, the choir and those in attendance took part in an hour of song and merriment, culminated by a Welsh tea and fellowship served by the Women’s Missionary Society of the host church.
