The Lehighton Area school board on Monday:

• Approved a $33,015.22 payment to Jay R. Reynolds for elementary center work.

• Approved the Carbon Lehigh Intermediate Unit and PAIUnet Telecommunication for the procurement of E-rate eligible services with the district for years 2020-25 at no cost to the district.

• Accepted the donation to the general fund of $50 from Bethany Wesleyan Church to be used for the Aevidum club.

• Accepted the donation of a 2006 Ford Crown Victoria police cruiser to the district from Lehighton Borough.

• Hired Diane Schnell, Karen Blisard, Christina Brong, Kristen Zellner, Norine Zellner, Bonnie Helmer and Grace Kern, at the current contracted hourly rate of pay, for the Grades 2-5 After-School Remediation Program.

• Accepted an intent to retire from Shirley Rodgers, elementary teacher, after 20.66 years of service.

• Accepted an intent to retire from Shirley Kline, paraprofessional, after 22 years of service.

• Hired Ashley Shannon as a part-time cleaner at $9.19 per hour.

• Accepted the resignation of Lisa Failla as high school Red Cross Club adviser.
