Fire companies from Schuylkill and Carbon counties responded to a dwelling fire Tuesday evening in Treskow. The fire was reported at 6 p.m. at 17 West Oak St., one of three adjoining homes. The fire was reported to be a worker in a second floor bath room. Officials report the occupants had a space heater plugged into an extension cord, causing the blaze.
