NOTES ... With this set of rankings comes quite a bit of movement, with many wrestlers shifting weight classes ahead of the postseason. These rankings will likely see even more shuffling after several potential head-to-head matchups this weekend ... One of the most competitive and interesting groups throughout the season has been 170 pounds, a trend that should continue once the postseason gets underway. Fronheiser collected a 14-5 major decision against Newhall on Feb. 12, while Krell picked up a 5-0 decision over Newhall on Feb. 5. Fronheiser also earned an 8-4 decision over Krell in the fifth-place match at the Coal Cracker in January, and recorded an 11-2 major decision over his counterpart on Dec. 11. Fronheiser also edged Lalik 10-9 in a thriller on Jan. 13 … Zeigenfuss posted a 5-3 decision over McDermott on Feb. 12 … Carter enters the rankings this week and earns an honorable mention nod at 195 after pinning Trent Hunter on Feb. 12. Carter has won five of his last six matches. He also owns a win over Lucykanish earlier this season – a pin – on Jan. 13 … Herron earned a 4-2 decision in sudden victory overtime against Gasker on Feb. 12. But Gasker had pinned Herron in 4:54 at the Schuylkill League tournament in January. If Gasker and Herron both win their opening round matches at the district tournament, they will meet once again in the quarterfinals ... Amorim earned a 3-2 decision over Bernhard in a consolation match at the Coal Cracker Tournament last month and keeps the top spot at 145 ... Randy Steigerwalt pinned Sangiuliano at the Schuylkill League Tournament last month ... Ferguson and Jake Dellicker occupy the only spots at 120 pounds, and are scheduled to wrestle each other in the opening round at districts. Ferguson is seeded ninth, while Dellicker is eighth… Derek Hunter edged Strouse 3-2 at 285 pounds in the third meeting between the top two heavyweights in the area this season on Wednesday. The pair had split the previous two matchups. Hunter won the most recent bout, edging Strouse 2-1 in the 285-pound final at the Coal Cracker Tournament. Strouse defeated Hunter 3-1 for his second Schuylkill League title earlier this season. Both have given fans a lot to look forward to heading into the postseason as the top seeds at 285 pounds in the District 11 Class 2A bracket … Northern Lehigh has not wrestled since the Coal Cracker Tournament Jan. 24-25 … Syracuse has not lost since Jan. 9 against East Stroudsburg North’s Dylan Hogan. The sophomore has won eight straight matches in that span, with four of those wins coming by pinfall, three by decision and one by technical fall … Womack has been just as impressive, and takes over the top spot at 160. He has won 11 matches in a row, with his last loss coming to South Williamsport’s Lane Lusk in the final at the South Williamsport Tournament on Jan. 4. The loss marked his only setback of 2020 … Frable

has been another stud for the Bears, though he dropped two of his last three matches to end the regular season. The junior dropped a 7-3 decision to Pocono Mountain West’s Jonathan Owens – an Eastern Pennsylvania Conference Second Team All-Star – on Jan. 21, and was edged 3-2 (UTB) by Wallenpaupack’s Jody VanDunk on Feb. 12. His win during that stretch was a forfeit against East Stroudsburg South on Jan. 25.
