State police at Lehighton reported on the following crashes investigated by troopers:

• A one-vehicle crash was reported at 2:54 a.m. Feb. 2 along Upper Smith Gap Road in Eldred Township, Monroe County. Troopers said Austin D. Shoffstall, 19, of Easton, was driving a 2019 Volkswagen Jetta when the vehicle left the road and struck a tree and dirt embankment. Shoffstall was not injured. He was cited for the crash.

• A crash was reported at 12:44 a.m. Feb. 1 along Meixsell Valley Road in Ross Township, Monroe County. Troopers said Joshua J. Cipriano, 20, of Saylorsburg, was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt when it left the road and struck a tree. Cipriano and his passenger, Toni Zito, 19, of Stroudsburg, were not injured. He was cited for the crash.

• On Jan. 28 a crash was reported along East Lizard Creek Road in East Penn Township, Carbon County. Troopers said Andrew R. White, 37, of Lehighton, was driving a 2008 Honda Accord eastbound when he swerved to avoid a deer that had entered the roadway. The vehicle went onto the berm and struck a utility pole.

White was not injured. The Honda was be towed.
