State police at Lehighton have a suspect in a Tuesday stabbing at the Gateway Motel in Ross Township.

Constantine Galicas stabbed Thad Starner, police said, during an altercation at the hotel. The night prior, Starner had a verbal altercation with Alyson Tolino. Tolino informed Galicas of the argument and he came to help her.

Galicas was filming with his phone when Starner arrived, and Starner threw several firewood logs at Galicas. During a physical altercation, Galicas stabbed Starner in the arm with a knife. Police said they have video of further verbal bantering between the two after the stabbing.

Galicas was taken into custody at the scene and police said they will be filing charges.
