State police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks are investigating a theft incident at a Schuylkill County residence.

Troopers said on Jan. 13 FedEx delivered a package to a couple along Village Road in West Brunswick Township. When the victim opened the package the laptop that was supposed to be in it was missing. It is not known when and where the laptop was removed from the box, which was resealed. It is valued at $634.94.

The investigation into the theft is continuing.
