A Lehigh County hotel/inn was robbed at gunpoint this morning, according to state police at the Bethlehem barracks.

Troopers said the incident occurred at the Days Inn, located at 3400 Airport Road, in Hanover Township. About 4 a.m. a man entered the inn and approached the front desk. The suspect displayed a handgun and demanded money from the cash register. The desk personnel opened the drawer and provided the suspect with the money in the register. The suspect then fled in an unknown direction.

Troopers said the suspect was wearing a silver sweatshirt, gray pants, gloves and a black mask to cover his face.
