Upon the recommendation of the appropriate county row officers, the following positions and salaries were set for 2020 at the annual Carbon County Salary Board meeting, held in the commissioners’ meeting room on Monday.

The salaries and positions are effective Jan. 1 unless otherwise noted. Each employee will receive a 3 percent raise.

Clerk of Courts

• One first deputy at $17.80 per hour

• One second deputy at $12.93 per hour

• One bench warrant clerk at $11.72 per hour

• One clerical specialist at $11.49 per hour

• Two clerical specialists at $10.84 per hour

• One solicitor at $1,300 per year

• Change the rate of one part-time automation clerk from $9.83 per hour to $10.32 per hour, retroactive to Jan. 1.

Bureau of Collections

• One director at $23.23 per hour

• Two collection clerks II at $11.72 per hour

• One part-time automation clerk* at $9.83 per hour

Controller

• One accounting manager at $45.14 per hour

• One first deputy at $22.09 per hour

• One second deputy at $20.49 per hour

• One retirement board secretary at $6,000 per year

• Establish the position of one first deputy trainee at $17.98 per hour, effective Jan. 20 through Feb. 18.
