                The Schuylkill County Animal Response Team recently honored two fire companies and a police officer at its annual Christmas party at Hoss’s Steakhouse, Cressona. Logan Wiederhold, left, representing Auburn Fire Company, was presented a plaque in recognition of the department’s assistance to the team at a large animal rescue incident. A plaque will also be presented to Summit Station Fire Company for their assistance on the same incident. A plaque was presented to officer Aaron Koehler, right, of the Tamaqua Police Department for his assistance to the team at a structure fire in the borough where numerous animals were relocated.
