The 6th annual Bo Tkach Foundation 5K Turkey Trot and Run will be held at 9 a.m. on Thanksgiving morning in Palmerton.

The start will begin next to the Pencor Building on Third Street and end in the Community Park near the gazebo.

More than 850 runners/walkers registered in 2018 for the event, making it the largest race in the foundation’s history and by the number of pre-registrants this year that number will be topped again.

Proceeds from this race/walk benefit the Bo Tkach Foundation providing mental health counseling funding, scholarships, and educational presentations on suicide prevention, OCD and depression.
