On Nov. 30 at 1 p.m., the Lehigh Valley Heritage Museum will host Dr. Chris Mackowski, who will discuss and sign copies of his new book, “Grant’s Last Battle: The Story Behind the Personal Memoirs of Ulysses S. Grant.”

Mackowski is currently a professor at St. Bonaventure University in Allegany, New York. He has worked as a historian for the National Park Service at Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania National Military Park, giving tours at several major Civil War battlefields.

Admission to the event is free to members.
