The new PBS39 original program Counter Culture, hosted by Grover Silcox, won a Mid-Atlantic Regional Emmy award in the category of interview/discussion series at the 2019 Mid-Atlantic Regional Emmy Awards.

More than 600 regional television industry professionals attended the ceremony, held on Sept. 28 at the Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh Downtown.

At this ceremony, Silcox was also inducted into the prestigious Silver Circle Society.

Counter Culture, a weekly talk show set at the counter of Daddypops Diner in Hatboro, welcomes artists, authors, comics, singers, historians and others to talk about their passions.

Along with Silcox, team members recognized for this achievement include Jeffrey Frederick, Zach Wisneskie, Anastasia Weckerly, Jessica Lee, Daniel Ray, Andrea Cummis, Javier Diaz and Yoni Greenbaum.
