A person was injured Thursday night in a crash in Franklin Township. The head-on accident occurred on Indian Hill Road just east of Willow Street. The driver of a car was treated at the scene by Lehighton paramedics before being transported to a local trauma center. An elderly couple in the sport utility vehicle were evaluated at the scene. Firefighters of Franklin Township fire company assisted at the scene with their fire police maintaining traffic control at the scene. State police at Lehighton are investigating the incident.
