The Bowmanstown Area Residents Connected in partnership with the Palmerton Area Library and the Bowmanstown-Parryville Lions Club are sponsoring a Kidsfest from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Bowmanstown Borough playground.

This is a free event, open to the public, celebrating the end of summer with the children and young adults of our community. There are many activities, games and story time as well as songs for our younger friends. The Lions Club will be providing free vision screening for all children who attend.

“We are looking forward to involving our younger generation in the community, get them outside, and give them accessible and affordable ways to interact together in person as they set off to a new school year,” remarked Kara Scott. “Our partnership with the library has given us another fun and exciting way to expand and celebrate our children. They are the future.”
