State police at Lehighton reported they are investigating a reported child abuse incident in Carbon County but gave few details.

Troopers said the victim is a 7-year-old girl from Jim Thorpe and that the reported incident occurred along West Sunset Road in East Penn Township. Troopers said the investigation is ongoing.
