Crayola Crayon Factory: The Crayola Experience in Easton provided hands-on learning and interactive activities for children. Based on the famous crayons, the Crayola Experience provides attractions for families to learn, but also dance, color and participate in some of the events. After viewing the attractions, people can shop at the Crayola Store, and make their own personalized crayon box. Special offers are available for first responders and teachers. The whole facility is ADA compliant.

C.F. Martin & Co.: Martin Guitar has served music legends for nearly two centuries. A part of pop culture based in concert, theater, television and movies, everyone has seen a Martin guitar without knowing it. Located in Nazareth, the factory offers guided tours which allow people to watch every step of making a famous guitar. Martin Guitar Museum is a self-guided museum that displays over 170 crafted guitars. After the tours, people can visit the 1833 Shop and get some Martin merchandise. Hours vary.

ACCA Museum Inc.: The perfect indoor place for car fanatics. ACCA Museum Inc. has three floors of exhibits consisting of more than 100 vehicles of automobile history on display including Route 66 gallery, museum of bus transportation, large-scale model train display and more. There is an assembly line experience that shows how the famous Model T was created. The museum is open 9 a.m.-5 p.m. daily, and the gift shop is open 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

Turkey Hill Experience: Located in Columbia, Turkey Hill Experience allows families to learn the story of the famous ice cream and tea maker, Turkey Hill. The interactive exhibits will make anyone feel like an ice cream maker by making an original ice cream flavor and starring in a commercial. There are free samples of ice cream and Turkey Hill beverages for everyone to try.

Indian Echo Caverns: Indian Echo Caverns: An underground natural attraction for families and pets to explore. Indian Echo Caverns offers a guided tour through the cave of rock and crystal formations. The cave is always 52 degrees, so it’s the perfect place for a hot day. Outdoor activities such as a playground, gem mill junction, petting zoo and covered pavilions are on location. AAA discount is available upon purchase.

Amish Country: The ultimate day trip that requires travel, but the family isn’t stuck in one location all day. Amish country is a vast land featuring numerous small, unique towns with their own stories. The heart of Pennsylvania Dutch cooking lies in Amish Country with restaurants and local stands offering pretzels, chocolate, chicken potpie and chow chow. There are plenty of mini golf courses, interactive places, museums and Dutch Wonderland for the children to enjoy.

Gettysburg National Military Park: Besides coal mining, the battle of Gettysburg made PA a vital piece of American history. Gettysburg National Military Park along with other museums are free admission for families to view on their own time. History is evident, but the landscapes and monuments will make anyone fascinated. Ghost tours are available throughout the area, costs vary.
