LV Children’s Centers appoints new CEO

Lehigh Valley Children’s Centers announced that its board of directors has appointed Charles Dinofrio, M.Ed. as president and chief executive officer.

He will become the third person to lead LVCC since its founding in 1970 by Judith H. Chase. Dinofrio previously held the position of vice president of early education and child care at LVCC.

Dinofrio brings 20 years of experience working in the early education and child care field and has a proven record of establishing strategic alliances in the community to promote quality early education. He joined LVCC in 2013 and held several administrative roles before his promotion to vice-president of early education and child care in 2016. Dinofrio played a key role in establishing 12 new LVCC locations and expanding services in response to community needs. Dinofrio succeeds Susan Williams, Ed.M., who served 14 years as LVCC’s president and CEO before stepping down in 2017. Williams followed the late Judith H. Chase, who established and led the organization (formerly known as Lehigh Valley Child Care) from 1970 until her retirement in 2003.

In addition to Dinofrio’s appointment, Jessika Nasatka has moved from senior program coordinator to vice-president of early education and child care. These leadership appointments are effective immediately.
