The Ukrainian American Heritage Foundation of the Lower Anthracite Region will celebrate 30 years of song and dance at the annual folk dance camp and workshop, through Friday. The camp is held at the Ukrainian Homestead of CEC, ODWU Inc., 1230 Beaver Run Drive in Lehighton.

The camp will conclude with the 30th anniversary performance at 7 p.m. on Saturday with a special dance and party to follow the show featuring the Just Us Orchestra from Northeastern Pennsylvania. The performance is open to the public free of charge.

The camp is supported by the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, a state agency, through its regional arts funding partnership, Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts. State government funding for the arts depends upon an annual appropriation by the commonwealth of Pennsylvania and support from the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency. PPA is administered in this region by the Lehigh Valley Arts Council.
