During a meeting Wednesday, the Schuylkill County Commissioners approved the following personnel changes:

• In Children & Youth, promoted Kesh Blunt, Auburn, to county caseworker II, at a salary of $19.15 per hour.

• In the Office of Senior Services, accepted the retirement of Aging Care Management Supervisor I Sherrill Brennan, East Norwegian Township, effective June 28; and the resignation of Erin Griffin, West Mahanoy Township, Aging Care Manager, effective July 3.

• In the prison, promoted Billie Jo Bender, Pine Grove, to corrections officer full time at a salary of $22.34 per hour.

• In Court Administration, promoted Jennifer McGrath, Gordon, to chief court reporter, at a salary of $27.37 per hour.

• In the Sheriff’s Department, accepted the resignation of Deputy Sheriff Jeremy Sborz, Pottsville; approved the transfer of Joseph Cazione, Minersville, from temporary deputy sheriff to deputy sheriff, at a salary of $18.50 per hour; and appointed Michael Breznik, Frackville, as per diem security guard, at a rate of $15 per hour.

• In the Coroner’s Office, appointed Daniel Opozda, Hegins, as deputy coroner/investigator.
