Police seize drugs, cash and guns in Frackville raid

A 34-year-old Frackville man will be charged with numerous drug-related offenses after the Pennsylvania State Police, joined by the Schuylkill County District Attorney’s Office, the Drug Task Force and Frackville Borough Police, conducted a raid on Thursday at the Motel 6 in West Mahanoy Township.

Police said Aaron W. Gray, 34, will be arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Christina Hale, Frackville, as a result of the execution of a search and seizure warrant on a room at the motel.

The District Attorney’s Office reported Gray will be charged with violations of the controlled substance, drug, device and cosmetic act, including eight counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver (methamphetamine, fentanyl, LSD, oxycodone and marijuana), two counts of illegal possession of firearms and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

During the raid, police said they seized 1,665 glassine packets containing suspected fentanyl, having an estimated street value of $9,990.

Also found were approximately 12 grams of methamphetamine worth $1,200 on the street, as well as quantities of suspected Oxycodone pills, suspected LSD, suspected marijuana, $2,341 and two loaded firearms.
