Tamaqua police reported on the following arrests:

• William Williams, 61, of Lehighton, was found to be driving with a suspended license during a traffic stop on May 18. After a search of the vehicle police found a small clear bag of suspected methamphetamine and a piece of paper rolled up with suspected marijuana in it. Williams was taken into custody and charges are pending.

• Christopher J. Serina, 39, of Tamaqua, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia stemming from an incident on May 18. Police saw Serina standing in a parking lot after just receiving a copy of a warrant from Lehigh County for his arrest. Police found a bundle of heroin stamped with a blue skull and two guns in Serina’s pocket, along with a pill bottle containing 11 white pills imprinted with “IP 115,” which were identified as acetaminophen and hydrocodone bitartrate 325 MG, classified as a controlled substance.

• Dominick Chickilly, 28, of Summit Hill, was issued a citation for public drunkenness for an incident that occurred on May 23. Police were dispatched to the 500 block of Pine Street after receiving multiple calls that Chickilly was under the influence and “acting out.” On scene police noted that Chickilly was waddling around the corner with no shirt on and sweating profusely. Chickilly said that he was “going for a run.” Police made note of his pinpoint pupils and his inability to stand or sit still and determined that Chickilly was under the influence of a narcotic. A witness claims that Chickilly was dancing, and then took his shirt off, threw it on the ground and slapped it. Chickilly was taken into custody.

• Joseph Franz, 31, of Mary D, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop on May 23. Police pulled over Franz due to his vehicle not having an inspection sticker. Franz had an active warrant out for his arrest. As police spoke with Franz he was digging inside of his pocket while police looked down and saw a needle inside of his pocket. Inside of Franz’s front pockets were two capped needles. Brian Fritz, 43, of Forest City, was a passenger in the vehicle. The communications center relayed that Fritz had an active warrant for his arrest and he was taken into custody. Police found a clear bag, commonly used to store narcotics, a cut straw inside of an Altoid container. Fritz was also charged with possession.

• Police were dispatched to the area of West Broad and South Railroad street on May 25 for a report of a disturbance. Two men, Kelly Snowe and Josh Binder were arguing on scene. Police found that Snowe, 50, of Tamaqua, had a warrant out for his arrest. He was taken into custody. Earlier that afternoon police received a criminal mischief complaint on the 100 block of Rowe Street. After speaking with a witness it was found that Binder, 19, of Tamaqua, was involved in the incident. The witness claimed that Binder helped her move that day. He became agitated and broke a front screen door of the witness’s residence. A summary citation was filed. Damage was estimated at $100.

• Joshua Berko, 30, was charged with violating a protection from abuse order by police. The victim came to police on May 28. Evidence showed that over the span of three days, Berko sent 29 text messages and called her 21 times. Upon further review it was found that Berko was ordered to refrain from contacting the victim. Berko was previously evicted from the residence and stated in the text message that he has no where to go.

• Jason Scott Dunbar, 37, of Palmerton, was charged with possession with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia stemming from an incident that occurred on May 29. Police were dispatched to the 500 block of East Broad Street for a man hunched over in the driver seat of a vehicle. Police found Dunbar unconscious and the keys were not in the ignition. Police knocked on the window and Dunbar opened the door. When asked for identification Dunbar reached into his pocket and a clear sandwich bag rolled up with numerous purple wax packets in bundles came out. Police noted that Dunbar was not fully coherent and had a hard time explaining where he was. EMS recommended that he be transported to St. Luke’s Miners Hospital, Coaldale, to be evaluated. A field test was eventually done and it was found that Dunbar was under the influence of fentanyl.
