The Bear Mountain Butterfly Sanctuary located at 18 Church Road, Jim Thorpe, will be hosting a preseason celebration this weekend.

The celebration will begin on Saturday and conclude on Monday. The hours will be 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. No reservation needed.

There will be crafts, live butterflies, frogs, door prizes, butterfly hatching kits, basket raffle, coloring contest and more.

Bear Mountain Butterfly Sanctuary’s regular season will begin on June 8.
