Tamaqua police reported the following arrests:

• Frank Galluccio, 31, of Tamaqua, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia from an incident that occurred on May 7. Borough police were dispatched to Rolling Mill Avenue, for a reported overdose. Galluccio was found slumped over in the bathroom. EMS arrived and administered Narcan to Galluccio. He refused further EMS treatment. In his bedroom, police found 14 empty packets of heroin stamped with “The King,” two empty packets of heroin stamped with “Power Hour” and one uncapped needle.

• Anthony J. Stalgaitis, 37, of Tamaqua, was charged with burglary, simple assault, trespassing and harassment from an incident that occurred on May 7. Police were sent to Arlington Street after being contacted about an unwanted person in the house. Stalgaitis dropped off the victim’s dog and car key and left. A short time later, Stalgaitis got into the house, despite the door being locked. The victim locked herself in her bedroom and called the police. Stalgaitis forced his way into the bedroom, pushing the victim back into a dresser and injuring her lower back. The victim said that Stalgaitis does not have permission to be inside the house or should not have any keys to that address.

• Rachel Clara Heister, 26, of Philadelphia, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, driving an unregistered vehicle and disorderly conduct for an incident that occurred on May 12. Police observed that the defendant’s vehicle registration were expired. Upon initial contact with the driver, police smelled the odor of marijuana. The defendant was asked if she had any marijuana in the car, and she said yes. Heister gave police a jar with a small amount of suspected marijuana.

• Cody James Deetz, 23, of Tamaqua, was charged with driving under the influence and driving with a suspended license stemming from a May 2 incident. Police were dispatched to Schuylkill Avenue for an overdose. Upon arrival, police found Deetz in the driver’s seat of his vehicle, unconscious with shallow breathing, with Deetz’s keys still in the ignition. EMS treated Deetz with doses of Narcan and he regained consciousness. Police searched Deetz and found a small amount of marijuana in his pocket. Inside of the vehicle was an empty wax bag stamped with a skull insignia, commonly used to store heroin. Upon further investigation, police became aware that Deetz’s driving privileges were suspended at the time, along with numerous citations that he failed to respond.
